Insurance Information
The clinic is recognised as a provider of services for Bupa, Bupa International, Axa Health, WPA, Healix, Cigna and Aviva.
If you are having physiotherapy via your private medical insurance, then you will need to have prior authorisation before attending the clinic. They will issue an authorisation number which the clinic will use to reclaim the cost of your sessions. You will also need to provide the clinic with your membership number, date of birth and address, in order for the clinic to be able to reclaim the costs.
If you do not have prior authorisation, then you will be unable to use your private medical insurance for those sessions already undertaken. The cover will normally only begin from the date the insurance company authorise the claim.
You may have an excess on your policy which means you will be liable for this excess and will be required to pay this directly to the clinic after those sessions have been completed. Once the excess amount has been breached then any further costs will be funded directly via your insurance company.
Some insurance companies will triage you via a third-party company who will seek out physiotherapy for you, however, PhysioFitness Ltd is not a provider of services for any third-party companies. If you still wish to be seen at PhysioFitness Ltd then you will need to confirm that your insurance company is happy with this prior to attending the clinic. Alternatively, you can pay yourself under the normal self-pay rates listed on the website.
Please note that due to pre-arranged contracts, the cost of physiotherapy via your private medical insurance may differ to the cost of a self-funded session.
Your private medical insurance excess and maximum claim amount is down to you to check, and any amount not covered by the insurance company will need to be covered by yourself directly to the clinic.
Your private medical insurance will not cover: missed appointments, late cancellation fees, Pilates classes, or any equipment subject to cost that you may purchase from the clinic.
